THE NEW TURKISH LEGISLATION ABOUT PROPERTY SALES
IN TURKEY TO FOREIGN NATIONALS
The legislation approving property sales in Turkey to foreign nationals has came into effect on July 15, 2008. Real foreign persons and legal entities (Companies established by foreign nationals or those with foreign shareholdings) will be able to acquire real estate property in Turkey. UK-TURKEY TRADE DATA FOR 2007
In May 2008, exports-imports between the two countries grew by 8.1%.
In the five months cumulative January-May period, the increase was 15.6%.

Pegasus Airlines, a TBCCI member, announced the launch of new flights on its London (Stansted) – Istanbul (Sabiha Gökçen) route.  Pegasus Airlines will add two weekly additional flight on Mondays (from 1 September 2008) and Fridays ((from 1 October 2008).
